Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or an advanced degree.
- Experience executing full-cycle financial planning and analysis functions including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and modeling within a multinational company setting.
- Experience with SQL, R, or Python, or other programming/scripting languages to manipulate datasets.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with building financial reporting, producing analysis, implementing scalable monitoring and implementing reporting solutions.
- Experience with business process improvement, project management, and consulting.
- Ability to work with data to produce analysis, influencing decision making with numerical analysis and generating insights.
- Ability to work in an unstructured environment, and manage ambiguity, with the desire to attack large, complex problems.
- Ability to be a team player with a positive attitude, and excellent written and verbal business communication and people skills.

In this role, you will work on Google’s dynamic Marketing business. Using your problem-solving skills, excellent relationship building skills, and solid business partnering, you will help manage one of Google’s largest expenses to drive sustainable growth. You will play a key role in effective budget management, performance reviews, process transformations across Platforms and Devices (P&D) (e.g., Pixel Ecosystem, Home and Health, Android and Play) and help shape its marketing strategy.
Responsibilities
- Orchestrate the platform and devices budget, directing monthly reporting for the EMEA region and managing the end-to-end forecasting and quarterly variance analysis processes.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with Strategy and Operations, GTM, and S2P teams to refine marketing strategies and streamline workflows from initial concept to regional implementation.
- Act as the primary financial liaison for EMEA Marketing, delivering weekly budget insights, conducting profit and loss training, and distilling complex financial updates during annual planning cycles.
- Pioneer the development of scalable analytical tools, transitioning from traditional dashboards to AI-enabled solutions to drive data-informed decision-making across the devices and services portfolio.
- Define and monitor key performance indicators and measurement frameworks, ensuring marketing investments are tied to tangible business outcomes and sound return on investment metrics.
