National Grid is hiring EPC Project Managers and Associate EPC Project Managers for our Customer Connections Team based in Anglia covering Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk.

What you'll do

In this role you will have full responsibility for delivering challenging projects from business case to completion through a multi-disciplinary team within the Infrastructure Delivery portfolio.

You could be involved in delivering projects such as the connection of power stations, wind farms, solar farms and battery storage – all of which will provide clean and affordable energy. Other connections could be giga factories, data centres and distribution networks, vital for our economy, technological advancement and the transition to greener transport and heat.

In other words, this is a job that really matters. Net zero cannot happen without connecting new, green generation and the demand customers who need it. About you

Experience working in the utilities industry or with electrical infrastructure is an advantage, but not essential. Our projects have significant civils, mechanical and lands/consenting workstreams and require people with diverse infrastructure backgrounds.
An understanding of the CDM regulations
Knowledge and Experience of administering NEC contracts, or other equivalent construction contracts.
Influencing and negotiation skills
Stakeholder management experience
Full UK driving licence is essential

What you'll get

Salary of £45,000 - £65,000 dependant on experience and capability, plus potential Market Supplement for the EPC Project Manager role.

Interview information

We will be holding 1st stage interviews via MS Teams on w/c 28th April. These will be followed up with face to face interviews on 13th - 15th May in our Bury St Edmunds office.
