Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in external contingent workforce solutions and optimizing operational performance through supplier engagement practices.
- 3 years of experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
- Experience with supplier engagement (SRM), continuous improvement, supply chain management, contract management and related areas.
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA degree.
- Experience contributing within a team that owns multiple, time-sensitive projects with competing priorities.
- Experience in strategy, supply chain or procurement of contingent workforce solutions.
- Experience in identifying, developing, and executing on operational improvement initiatives to deliver exceptional solutions.
- Ability to influence others and drive efficiencies and improvements through supplier engagement best practices with attention to details while managing multiple, simultaneous projects.
- Excellent business acumen and ability to successfully navigate and influence stakeholders within a business environment.
About the job
In this role, you will contribute to Alphabet’s workforce plan and the development of its future skills and capabilities in the field of extended contingent workforce. You will work with large cross-functional suppliers that translate and deliver service offerings that product areas use. You will be in-charge of helping realize our goal by collaborating with the suppliers that will be working at scale across Alphabet, to continue to drive efficient ways of working while also managing our risks and controlling the regulatory compliance agenda.
You will work as part of a cross-functional team both internal to extended workforce (xWS) (Risk and Compliance, Partner Engagement etc.) and also within the product areas (Vendor Management Office (VMOs), Global Procurement Organization (GPO) etc.) to drive efficiencies and risk mitigation strategies across our supplier base, being tasked with driving multiple concurrent priority zero initiatives to enhance the experience of product areas within the contingent workforce space.
Responsibilities
- Gather and use data to manage supplier relationships across Alphabet which are targeted at encouraging and enhancing better contingent workforce management and practices.
- Manage large stakeholder groups to ensure alignment across our supplier engagement activities.
- Enhance customer product areas experience when working with extended workforce and by demonstrating a cohesive approach to supplier engagement (at above contract levels).
- Contribute to the development of the extended workforce supplier engagement strategy and delivery approach, pressure testing different ways of working and creating outside of the box solutions that will change the way Alphabet manages the extended workforce space.
- Work with customers product areas and suppliers to drive excellent supplier engagement practices.
