Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
- 2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.
- Experience with Java or Kotlin.
- Experience with data modeling in data science.
- Experience creating conceptual and logical data models.
Preferred qualifications:
- 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Experience with design and coding.
- Experience in writing code.
- Experience developing accessible technologies.

- Develop new features and capabilities for the Local Business back-end technology stack.
- Port features from the old system to the new one, as well as work on new requirements from client teams.
- Evolve the core system that manages and exposes Create, Read, Update, and Delete (CRUD) application programming interfaces (APIs) for local business data across Maps and Shopping.
