Job Summary
Join a dynamic software and platform development team operating in a High Performance Computing (HPC) environment. Our mission is to automate, package, deploy, develop and maintain internal tools and software, supporting both legacy and modern technologies. You’ll collaborate across IT, development, and infrastructure, contributing to the industrialization and reliability of our software solutions.
Your work will have a direct impact on the deployment and support of our software in our large-scale data centers, powering critical operations. In addition, you’ll help deliver and support these solutions for external clients, expanding your reach and influence beyond our organization.
Team Environment
Within our Tech+ division, you’ll work closely with experienced developers, DevOps engineers, and IT specialists, under the supervision of Senior software engineers. The team values flexibility, initiative, and open communication. Projects are varied, with opportunities to learn new technologies and contribute to both short-term tasks and long-term platform evolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance tools and platforms for packaging, deployment, automation, and monitoring of internal applications.
- Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and orchestration (as Docker / Singularity, Kubernetes / DAD).
- Collaborate with IT, development, and infrastructure teams to ensure coherent deployments and integration of solutions.
- Promote continuous improvement in security, best practices, and documentation.
- Provide technical support for deployed tools and participate in incident resolution
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or equivalent (engineering school, computer science).
- First significant professional experience (recommended 2–5 years).
- Initiative, willingness to learn, and ability to invest in varied topics.
- Adaptability to environments combining legacy and modern technologies.
- Professional proficiency in French and English.
Core technical skills
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
- Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Singularity, Kubernetes or similar).
- Solid command of Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Proficiency in scripting or software development (Shell, Python, Go, Java, or C), with strong expertise in at least one language.
- Good understanding of Linux system administration
Additional Skills
- Experience with automation and configuration management tools (Ansible or equivalent).
- Awareness of security best practices in systems and software deployment (e.g. secure pipelines, SBOM).
- Exposure to HPC or Data Center environments.
- Familiarity with software packaging and dependency management (e.g. Spack).
- Experience in service-based organizations or multi-technology, cross-functional projects.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within diverse technical teams.
