Role SummaryA technical and advisory lead focused on data privacy, security and AI governance. You drive discovery, propose designs, and support complex implementations leveraging tools like Securiti.ai and OneTrust.
QualificationKey Responsibilities:- Discovery & Assessment
- Map personal data flows and processing activities across applications, cloud platforms, M365, and AI/ML workflows using tools such as OneTrust and Securiti.ai to identify collection points, storage locations, data sharing, third‑party recipients, and cross‑border transfers.
- Assess privacy risks and compliance gaps by reviewing current controls, conducting DPIAs/AI DPIAs, evaluating retention practices, identifying high‑risk processing, and analysing alignment with GDPR/UK GDPR, DPA 2018, and internal policy requirements.
- Identify privacy control gaps and improvement opportunities across consent mechanisms, data minimisation, purpose limitation, subject rights processes, and technical enforcement via Purview classification, labelling, DLP, and DSPM discovery outputs.
- Architecture & Design
- Embed privacy‑by‑design into data and AI workflows - map personal data flows, identify high‑risk processing, and ensure Purview/Securiti.ai controls enforce minimisation, purpose limitation, and lawful processing.
- Define AI security operational controls, policy guardrails, and monitoring patterns.
- Operational & Governance Support
- Develop operating models, runbooks, tuning frameworks, and feedback loops.
- Map controls to regulatory and privacy requirements.
- Operationalise global privacy requirements - align controls with GDPR, UK GDPR, DPA, and emerging AI/ML regulations; translate legal requirements into technical enforcement and monitoring across data platforms and AI pipelines.
- Drive privacy risk mitigation and governance - perform DPIAs/AI DPIAs, support privacy control testing, implement consent/retention policies, and integrate privacy signals into DSPM and AI governance dashboards
Required Skills:- 5+ years in cyber/data/cloud security.
- Experience with OneTrust (or similar platforms) for data mapping, ROPA, DPIA/AI DPIA, consent management, and privacy risk workflows.
- Strong knowledge of GDPR, UK GDPR, DPA 2018, data minimisation principles, retention rules, lawful basis assessment, and cross‑border data transfer requirements.
- Ability to translate regulatory requirements into technical controls across cloud, M365, SaaS, and AI platforms.
- Proficient in DSPM tools (preferably Securiti.ai).
- Understanding of AI security guardrails and governance
