The Corporate Planning & Management (CPM) Division unifies Finance & Planning, Spend Management, Operational Risk and Resilience, and CPM Engineering teams to deliver business planning and analytics, expense management, third party risk management, and governance strategies across the firm. CPM have 5 operating pillars.
Finance & Planning supports the execution of the firm’s strategic objectives through the management of the planning process, firmwide reporting and analytics and insights into the firm’s business plans and budgets. They develop consistent framework for revenue division projections creating transparency, accountability and efficiency around projections. This pillar also includes the CF&O, EO and Engineering divisional CFOs, who are strategic finance advisors helping the firm and the non-revenue divisions achieve commercial financial opportunities.
Product Finance is responsible for the overall governance and proactive management of the firm’s non-compensation expenses.
Spend Management encompasses the functions responsible for managing all aspects of the firm's spend with third parties - advising commercial agreements and driving operating efficiency. Departments include Strategic Sourcing, Procure to Pay, Integrated Travel and Expense, Infrastructure and Transformation and Sustainable Operations.
Operational Risk & Resilience drives firmwide Operational Risk programs along with second line teams and implements required changes within CPM. The Corporate Insurance & Advisory team in this pillar identifies, procures, and manages corporate insurance needs for the firm and its investing businesses.
The CPM Engineering team provides engineering solutions that enable the firm to manage third-party spend, data and automation, plan budgets, forecast financial scenarios, allocate expenses and support corporate decision making in-line with the firm’s strategic objectives.
YOUR IMPACT
We are seeking a full-time vice president or strong associate to manage Communications and User Engagement for CPM division. This role will lead global communications, change management communications and strategic engagement, developing engaging and innovative change management plans, providing expertise and guidance across the CPM division.
Communications and User Engagement aims to strengthen the dialogue with our clients, stakeholders and end users through strategic communication and engagement to increase awareness and commercial utilization of our products and services and to protect and elevate the firm’s brand.
Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Lead CPM firmwide communications and user engagement, across all pillars especially around spend management, third party risk management and vendor sustainability
- Work alongside business leads, product owners and CPM leadership to communicate key changes/impacts our people, operations, products and services, employing a multi-channel approach across email, events, digital content and engagement initiatives
- Work closely with functional leads to understand and communicate key upcoming initiatives (e.g., launches, policy communications, regulatory outreach, optimizing use of CPM products)
- Manage and shape the vendor communications strategy
- Liaise with the Executive Office as needed on any applicable communications (internal and external)
- Strategic leadership on communications initiatives and requirements
- Curation of governance guidelines, maintaining firmwide standards, service level agreements for communication requirements
- Utilizing data-driven approach to shape engagement approach and future implementations
- Support internal divisional communications:
- Coordinate logistics and content alongside global Chief of Staff team for internal divisional communications (i.e. townhalls and other internal events).
- Send regular divisional messaging (via e-mails, newsletters, website updates, etc.) and ad-hoc organizational or leadership messaging.
- Manage and maintain content on CPM webpages
Qualifications / Experience / Skills:
- Strong writer, editor and proofreader, able to effectively and concisely communicate engaging content and ensure messaging is consistent with firm and divisional style
- Excellent interpersonal skills, must present well and be articulate
- Driven self-starter, capable of working independently and with a global team while ensuring expectations are clear
- Familiarity with corporate communications vehicles including content management systems, newsletters, e-mail messages, etc.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and superior judgement and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing large scale change initiatives
- Ability to negotiate and influence outcomes and work effectively across teams and with all levels of the organization
- Ability to progress on several projects simultaneously and balance competing priorities
- Forward thinker with the ability to anticipate needs and issues
- Ability to quickly learn, adopt and promote new products and services
