Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in a management consulting, sales operations, business strategy or corporate advisory role.
- 5 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.
- 4 years of experience managing and leading teams.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in managing executive stakeholders in a trusted advisor role, with proven communication skills and ability to distill complex insights into executive narrative.
- Track record of high productivity and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to be flexible, self-supporting, and accustomed to high-growth, ambiguous situations; motivated to learn, and comfortable working as part of a team of professionals.
- Executive storylining and communication skills, ability to craft a compelling narrative.

As a Head of Strategy and Operations, Google Cloud, go-to-market (GTM), you will jointly drive the business with the UKI executive leadership team, act as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the UKI and Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) Vice President, and jointly own and drive the business through structured planning and operational cadences, leveraging your direct and virtual Strategy and Operations team. - Partner with the UKI/SSA VP and their Leadership Team to develop the organization’s strategy (including organization design, growth and business plan) becoming an integral part of the team.
- Drive the business forward by developing/executing initiatives to accelerate growth and scale.
- Establish and shape the way we work, through operational cadence, content of reviews, improvement initiatives and metrics, insights and reporting.
- Run the business for your region and own key processes like business reviews and quaterly business reviews (QBRs).
- Measure progress against goals, be aware of gaps and develop/implement plans to bridge them.
