Senior Data Product Manager
We are looking for a Senior Data Product Manager in our Data Product team.
We firmly believe that data is core to our mission to build the place where small businesses can get the funding they need to win. It is our key asset and is fundamental to the growth of our company. As such, we’re looking to strengthen our Data Product team to help us continue to build a world class data ecosystem, working on cutting edge data concepts and technologies.
This role will work closely with a team of data engineers & analytics engineers to build data products, supporting key stakeholders across the business - including risk, data scientists, commercial and more.

The role
Drive Data Strategy & Culture: Champion the strategic development of data products, mentor junior colleagues, and lead the transformation towards a data-driven culture across the company.
Stakeholder Partnership & Roadmap Ownership: Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, translating their strategic objectives into a prioritised and impactful data product roadmap.
End-to-End Domain Management: Take full ownership of a data domain, defining its OKRs and planning cycles while working closely with engineering teams to shape and deliver high-value data solutions.
Cross-Functional Translation: Act as the central translator between data-producing engineering teams and data-consuming analytics teams to align roadmaps, requirements, and priorities.
Maximise Data Value: Work with wider teams to increase the company's data maturity and maximise the value realised from our data assets by leveraging modern technologies.
What we’re looking for
Proven ability to manage diverse business stakeholders, translate their goals into successful products, and effectively prioritise the engineering roadmap.
Extensive experience working with modern data platforms (data lakes/warehouses) and a strong understanding of the needs of data scientists, analysts, and BI teams.
Adept at being the "voice of the product," capable of diving into technical details while also communicating the strategic "bigger picture" and business outcomes to leadership.
Proficiency in SQL for direct data exploration and analysis, enabling a deeper understanding of the product and user challenges.
A passionate and constructive relationship-builder who is genuinely motivated by the company's mission.
