We’re investing to decarbonise UK energy systems and building some of the most important infrastructure projects in the country. We’re looking for a Quantity Surveyor to support the team contract for these projects as efficiently as possible. Specifically, for our ‘Sea Link’ HVDC project that will transfer 2GW of clean, green energy between Suffolk and Kent.
As a Quantity Surveyor you will provide commercial and contractual support to project team on a large scale and high value project. Acting on behalf of our customers, you will help deliver your project in the most commercially effective way.
This role is suitable for those who want to step up from a junior level position to take responsibility for their own projects, or more experienced Quantity Surveyors who would like to work on high-value, complex schemes.
The role provides the opportunity to gain experience in a variety of tasks on some of the biggest, most exciting projects in green energy. Whether you want to take a strategic, technical, commercial, procurement or project management route, you will be supported to develop the necessary skills.
This role is focused at our Fristen Substation in Suffolk initially, however we have team members across England and this role reports into a manager based in Yorkshire. The project office is also based in Leeds. You’ll be part of our major Sealink Project. As such we welcome applicants across geographies.
