We are looking for a Programme Finance Manager to join the Future System Operator (FSO) team within National Grid ESO on an 18-month fixed-term contract.
The Electricity System Operator (ESO) will be at the heart of a new Future System Operator (FSO), focussed on driving net zero and delivering consumer value with a whole energy system mindset. The FSO is a transformational programme, in two parts, Transition, working with National Grid Plc to separate the ESO business ready to become the FSO and Transformation setting up the new organisation, both elements will be operating in parallel and at pace to ensure that the FSO is set up for success.
You’ll be a part of an exciting programme supporting the Finance workstream and will provide comprehensive financial support to the overall FSO programme. You’ll design, build, and implementing the Finance back-office functions of the Future System Operator and support with the overall programme finances. You’ll drive the financial forecasting of the separation of the ESO, design and implement new costing structures for the FSO business post separation, complete Ofgem returns for the FSO costs, and perform month end financial tasks for the programme. You will work alongside the other workstreams including Transitional Service Agreements (TSAs) and contracts providing support and ensure all programme costs are kept up to date.
This role will be based in Warwick, and we continue to offer hybrid working from office and home.
