Julie Sweet, Accenture CEOThe Insights team is part of Corporate Communications’ broader Strategy & Insights (S&I) group - a global function responsible for
developing a unified, data-driven earned media strategy aligned to Accenture’s business priorities.
S&I partners closely with Media Relations, Marketing, and Communications colleagues across all markets to ensure that programs are
strategically planned, thoughtfully measured, and continuously optimized. The team includes Insights, Media Strategy & Planning, Investor
Relations, Issues Management and CEO Positioning.
YOUR ROLEAs the Insights lead for EMEA, you will translate communications strategy into actionable reporting, analysis, and insights. You will serve as a
strategic partner to Media Relations colleagues across the region - helping them define what success looks like, understand performance
drivers, and apply insights to strengthen planning, storytelling, and execution.
You will also collaborate with global Insights teammates to ensure alignment on methodologies, tools, taxonomies, and best practices. A
strong sense of curiosity, critical thinking, and relationship building will be essential, along with a passion for uncovering the “why” behind the
data.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESInsight & Reporting Leadership
- Serve as the primary Insights partner for EMEA, managing requests, shaping reporting approaches, and recommending the right tools, methodologies, and metrics.
- Build and execute reporting using our media and social listening platforms; ensure search logic, Boolean queries, and taxonomies are optimized for accurate measurement.
- Translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives that help teams understand performance, identify opportunities, and
make informed decisions.
Regional Partnership & Enablement
- Partner with Comms leads across EMEA markets to meet local needs while maintaining consistency with global measurement practices.
- Educate media teams on how to interpret data, ask the right questions, and use insights to guide planning and campaign refinement.
- Provide ongoing counsel on media evaluation, benchmarking, and measurement best practices.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Work closely with global and regional S&I colleagues to refine tools, processes, and reporting frameworks.
- Identify gaps or opportunities for improved reporting, new metrics, or better storytelling techniques.
- Support ad hoc data and insight needs for priority campaigns, research launches, acquisitions, and executive positioning efforts.
QualificationBASIC QUALIFICATIONS• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Significant years of experience in communications, media, insights, or research roles.
• Experience working with qualitative and quantitative data to develop insights.
• Strong written communication skills and the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable takeaways.
• Proven ability to collaborate across time zones and matrixed teams.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders.
PREFERRED SKILLSMedia & Insights Expertise
- Strong understanding of the global and EMEA news landscape; regular consumer of local and international news.
- Experience with media monitoring or social listening tools (e.g., Meltwater, Cision, Factiva, Brandwatch, Sprinklr), including Boolean query building.
Analytical Strength
- Ability to identify patterns, interpret trends, and apply sound business judgment.
- Experience in data visualization, insight storytelling, and building reports from the ground up for senior audiences.
- Communication & Leadership
- Confident communicator with the ability to present findings to small and large groups.
- Comfort engaging with senior leaders and providing strategic counsel.
- Ability to guide and support other team members; strong leadership presence for a CL7 role.
Mindset & Ways of Working
- A proactive, self-directed problem solver with a “roll up your sleeves” attitude.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, evolving environment.
- Familiarity with LLMs and AI-powered tools (e.g., Copilot, Perplexity, ChatGPT) and ability to use them for research, analysis, or workflow optimization.
- Extremely detail oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Must be able to flex occasionally for global meetings across time zones (team leads primarily in Eastern and Central US time
with colleagues across APAC).
