Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of program management experience within design or UX organizations.
- Experience with UX related projects and UX design, user research, or user centered development tools and methodologies.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with the product development life-cycle.
- Experience analyzing data and leveraging insights to drive strategy.
- Experience managing risks (e.g., operational, product, team health).
- Experience working with UX teams and partnering effectively on cross-functional projects or teams in highly dynamic/fast paced environments.

As a UX Program Manager (UX Programs & Operations), you will combine expert project management skills with a passion for user experience to help your team improve the design of products that are used by billions of users. You’ll harmonize the work of UX Designers, Researchers, Content Strategists, UX Engineers, and other UX disciplines, while also working closely with our Engineering and Product Manager cross-functional partners, to drive UX team objectives and create innovative experiences for our business, products, and users.
The Health Platforms and Devices team builds innovative products and services that help our users live longer, healthier lives. We bring together the best of Google technologies and AI, health behavior science, and user-centered design to help users organize the health and wellness data, get insight from it, and take action toward their health goals. We do this with a suite of apps, services, and health wearables. We aim to make consumer health more personal, proactive, and actionable.
Responsibilities
- Be accountable for leading multiple strategic UX programs for key product experiences. Collaborate with UX leadership on critical decisions and orchestrate the successful delivery of several simultaneous projects.
- Orchestrate cross-functional collaboration to align roadmaps, priorities, and resources, ensuring strategic and operational alignment with interdependencies are clearly planned and understood.
- Advocate operational excellence and process improvement. Design and optimize scalable processes that balance velocity with quality.
- Evolve team-wide operational rhythms by governing structured design reviews and utilizing UX craft expertise to build programs that maximize team efficiency.
- Ensure executive leadership and stakeholders have clear visibility into program status, risks, and strategic priorities.
