Senior, outcome-driven Network & Change Specialist (Senior Engineer / Technical Lead / Architect level) to operate in a regulated Financial Services environment. This role is hands-on, problem-solving focused, and requires strong technical depth combined with change and risk control expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and deliver outcomes across enterprise and data centre networking, with security and compliance always in mind
- Control and execute risk-aware technical change, not just administer process
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues with a fix-the-problem mindset
- Coordinate effectively across upstream and downstream stakeholders in a politically complex environment
- Operate within formal change, risk, and governance frameworks
Required Experience
- Strong background in Financial Services and regulated environments
- Deep understanding of risk, risk assessments, and change control
- Proven experience with enterprise networking technologies (e.g. BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VXLAN / spine-leaf)
- Experience with ITIL, PRINCE2, or comparable change / project / service management frameworks
- Comfortable working under pressure in high-visibility environments
