The role will focus on developing best-in-class advertising campaigns and leading brand sponsorship programs that engage Accenture’s key audiences across the UK market.
Tasks included:
Paid Media - Drive advertising excellence and implement Accenture's UK advertising programs in alignment with global strategy, ensuring consistency and local relevance.
- Lead end-to-end advertising efforts across client-facing and talent-facing campaigns, including strategic planning, media mix development, creative coordination, and execution, in close collaboration with agencies and internal teams.
- Localize and adapt global campaigns - in close coordination with the translation agency, paid search and social teams, and UKI stakeholders - ensuring messaging resonates with UKI audiences (e.g., language, tone, relevance).
- Partnering with the social media lead to build a unique and consistent paid media/social media presence.
- Pilot emerging media formats and lead strategic partnerships with clients, premium publishers and platforms to elevate the visibility of what only Accenture can d o.
- Plan and manage the rollout of high-impact media partnerships and activations (e.g., The Economist, FT), particularly around strategic events such as client roundtables, working jointly with local teams to ensure impact and alignment.
- Analysis of different media proposals and evaluation of opportunities to integrate into campaigns.
Sport Sponsorship - Global sponsorship activation: Lead the strategic activation of Accenture’s brand sponsorships across the UK and international markets, driving brand visibility, business value, and client impact in line with global strategy.
- Senior stakeholder engagement: Manage relationships with very senior internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating strong gravitas and influencing alignment across marketing teams, business leaders, tournament organizers, and agencies.
- Client & partner engagement: Serve as a senior client-facing lead, engaging directly with key clients and partners to maximize sponsorship value and strategic relevance.
- Commercial impact: Partner with business teams to convert sponsorship assets into revenue-generating opportunities, ensuring clear commercial outcomes.
- Sponsorship delivery: Own end-to-end execution of sponsorship activities, including event delivery, client hospitality, brand activations, paid media, and content across the partnership.
- Cross-functional collaboration & storytelling: Develop and deliver compelling storytelling, content, and experiences that showcase Accenture’s role as Official Partner.
- Performance measurement: Measure and optimize sponsorship and campaign performance to ensure consistent visibility, innovation, and long-term value creation.
Brand Lead branded environment initiatives in strict alignment with global brand guidelines, delivering consistent, high-impact office branding across acquisitions, integrations, and new offices launches.
Always leverage data analysis, relevant metrics, and informed insights to drive strategic decisions. And always partner with and M+C UKI lead, EMEA Paid Media lead and local teams to navigate emerging opportunities and maximize the impact of our work in the UKI.
Qualification Professional Skills - Requirements - Knowledge of, and passion for advertising, with the ability to execute and implement multi-faceted campaigns.
- Experience overseeing advertising and understanding what makes audience engagement effective.
- Required a higher level of experience in sports sponsorship management.
- Robust project management experience and exceptional interpersonal skills, leadership, and diplomacy.
- Proven ability to plan, activate, and manage sponsorships aligned with brand objectives.
- Ability to oversee sponsorships end-to-end, from strategy to reporting and evaluation.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Deliver executional excellence, as well as creativity and innovation
- Ability to work autonomously and independently.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and contributing ideas to improve effectiveness.
Basic Qualification - Education: Bachelor’s degree, university degree or equivalent, advanced degree preferred.
- Strong expertise and experience in marketing and communication with at least 5 years of advertising and social media strategy experience, including digital advertising.
- Robust project management skills, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience managing sponsorships and strategic partnerships.
- Fluent English.
