QualificationThe Technology Delivery Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of technology projects and solutions. This role involves planning, executing, and monitoring projects to ensure successful outcomes. The Technology Delivery Manager will work closely with project teams, stakeholders, and vendors to deliver high-quality technology solutions that meet business needs.
This role requires an individual with a strong understanding of technology and the ability to manage complex projects. They should have excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. They should also be able to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively. The role will involve frequent exposure to individuals at Senior Management Level, requiring the ability to provide status updates and answer questions effectively in meetings. This role will also require interaction with senior management clients, leading project status updates.
Responsibilities:Planning: - Ensures that work priorities and assumptions align with the program objectives
- Minimizes opportunity for mistakes by building review time into plan
- Creates a logical plan, realistic estimates, and reasonable schedule for an activity or project segment
- Meets client expectations by ensuring that changes in scope or schedule are justified, covered financially, and agreed to by appropriate decision-makers
Execution: - Applies Accenture offerings and/or best practices to work
- Properly documents and follows through on progress, issues, and agreements
- Organizes and structures productive and efficient team meetings based on meeting objectives and format
- Manages scope and associated costs by effectively applying established processes
- Manages work within allocated budget
Problem Solving: - Quickly identifies or isolates the root causes of issues or problems
- Suggests options for resolving issues and improving the quality of work
- Provides solutions to problems for their immediate team, and may provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams
Risk Management: - Takes client's (internal and external) risk tolerance into account when making decisions
- Proactively mitigates risk by identifying potential pitfalls and creating strategies to avoid them
- Mitigates risk by proactively preparing for objections and considering the client's point of view
Communication: - Documents and communicates issues in an organised manner
- Makes difficult ideas and concepts easy to understand
- Communicates potential risks to stakeholders in a clear and constructive way
- Is clear and direct when providing guidance, responding to questions, and setting expectations
- Uses simple and easy-to-understand frameworks and formats to present information and ideas
- Asks direct questions to seek a greater understanding of underlying assumptions and expectations
- Adapts written and verbal communication style to fit audience needs and communication mediums
Collaboration: - Shares own knowledge and/or expertise with others
- Contributes to Accenture's internal knowledge-sharing and collaboration tools
- Teams with others across boundaries both within and outside of Accenture to develop better solutions
- Develops and consistently applies a naturally collaborative approach, being responsive and following through on commitments
