Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in political science, communications, computer science, data science, history, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience working in a Trust and Safety Operations, data analytics, cybersecurity, or other relevant environment.
- Experience in managing sensitive content, child safety, on a daily basis.
- Experience in international affairs, social work, child development or related discipline or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience with AI systems, machine learning, and their potential risks.
Preferred qualifications:
- Ability to think strategically and identify emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
- Ability to work on their own and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) and the ability to influence cross-functionally at various levels.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail in an ever-changing environment.

Trust and Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. - Lead the delivery of all structured and unstructured assurance evaluations for child safety, covering both model and application layers, covering all modalities and capabilities.
- Define the testing and child safety standards applicable, and work with cross-functional (xfn) colleagues, especially those from legal and engineering teams, to ensure these are met.
- Perform analyses and drive insights that help develop both model-level and product-level mitigations for child safety and quality.
- Lead multiple interdependent projects of high complexity and scope. Work cross-functionally to ensure coordination and alignment on objectives, key results and business priorities.
- Manage graphic, controversial, or upsetting content.
