Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in demand planning, forecasting within the Telco, consumer hardware industry.
- 6 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting within hardware, Telco, consumer electronics or fashion industry.
- Experience building long term confidence forecasts that incorporate baseline models, promo/event lifts, pricing elasticity, new product introductions, channel insights, and participant analysis.
- Experience in spreadsheet software, including Google Sheets or similar, with data manipulation, analysis, and reporting capabilities.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in the telecommunications industry.
- Experience as a change agent, including experience in project management and business process re-engineering.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to drive decisions with data.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with sales, demand planning, finance and go-to-market teams to develop and maintain precise weekly, quarterly, and annual forecasts. You will own the planning assumptions, incorporating guidance, market trends, seasonality, and engaged insights. Additionally, you will lead performance reviews, analyse business performance, and influence planning initiatives. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to process improvement to enable data-driven decision-making across the business. You will support Pixel first-party hardware products which includes Pixel phones and ecosystem across EMEA.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end monthly planning-cycle for the product category, develop and maintain consensus driven demand forecasts in close collaboration with sales, demand planning, finance and Go-to-Market.
- Own the long-term forecast based on data-driven insights and fact-based evidence. Identity strategies to optimize outcomes to hit regional KPIs.
- Lead category performance reviews on a weekly and monthly basis, analyze complex data sets using tools such as Google sheets, tableau to identify trends and develop actionable insights to influence decision-making.
- Lead the annual planning cycle for the category, analyse trends and contribute to the development of business targets aligned with company objectives.
- Improve business planning processes, focus on maximizing business, productivity, forecast accuracy, and enabling data-driven decision-making.
