Compensation Specialist
Hybrid – Houston / Full-Time

Viridien is looking for a detail-oriented and data-driven Compensation Specialist to support the design and execution of our global compensation strategy. In this role, you’ll work closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and leaders across the business to ensure we offer fair, competitive, and compliant compensation that helps attract and retain top talent across North America, Latin America, and Europe.

What You’ll Do
- Analyze internal and external data to support compensation decisions
- Help design and maintain salary structures, pay ranges, and incentive plans
- Participate in market benchmarking and compensation surveys
- Provide modeling and cost analysis for offers, promotions, and program updates
- Collaborate with HR and Talent Acquisition to develop competitive pay offers
- Ensure compliance with pay transparency laws and compensation regulations (e.g., FLSA)
- Support annual cycles: merit increases, bonuses, and equity administration
- Calculate and administer short- and long-term incentive payouts
- Training HR and managers in compensation policies and tools
- Maintain compensation policies and documentation
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in compensation analysis or a similar HR function
- Strong analytical and Excel skills
- Experience using HRIS systems (Workday preferred)
- Knowledge of market surveys (Mercer, WTW, or similar)
- Understanding of compensation laws and best practices
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and communication
- International mobility experience
- CCP certification is a plus
