Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program management.
- Experience with network infrastructure acquisition (i.e. dark fiber, transport systems, or data centers).
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Understanding of EMEA and global carrier networks.
- Ability to exercise business and technical understanding to drive the long-term objectives of the organization.
- Problem solving and financial skills, with the ability to adopt a data-driven, analytical approach towards solving complex challenges.
- Proficient in navigating ambiguity and identifying opportunities for optimization while possessing analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
- Be able to project manage end-to-end repeatable, transparent and complex planning pipelines, driving EMEA network planning activities for asset/infrastructure planning to support product area demand forecasts over time.
- Optimize Google’s Production Network for scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Ingest, analyze, understand, and rationalize demand forecasts for all EMEA related flows. Translate demand forecasts into regional capacity plans over time, taking into account market trends and technology changes to ensure the most optimized and cost effective network solution, translating this to asset/infrastructure requirements.
- Own and deliver in-depth technical risk assessments based on various what-if analysis to ensure the best technical solution is planned for across the network.
- Collaborate across internal teams, including business owners, cross-functional technical teams, strategic negotiators and designers, and network deployment teams.
