Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience in negotiating and structuring agreements or leading business development initiatives within the EMEA region.
- Experience in performing data-driven network availability and resiliency analysis.
- Experience in managing and partnering with partners to create relationships and business outcomes and in growing partners businesses.
- Experience with network capacity planning.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in strategic negotiations and business development within the EMEA telecommunications infrastructure sector, specifically including areas such as collocation data centers, fiber networks, transport services, and interconnects.
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks and business practices within the EMEA telecommunications market.
- Ability to discuss complex agreements with vendors, partners, and suppliers.
- Excellent financial skills including network present value calculations, agreement structuring, and return on investment analysis.

As Google's products and services scale the globe, the Strategic Negotiation team works behind the scenes to secure infrastructure for Google's future -- everything from underwater cables to physical data center space. As a Strategic Negotiator, you combine your deep market knowledge of a given sector with tech industry savvy to negotiate cost-effective solutions to support Google's infrastructure growth. You'll work with specific project teams on negotiating agreements, managing vendor and partner relationships and presenting agreement recommendations to our Tech leadership. In this role, you will be responsible to navigate complex, high-stakes negotiations with external partners. You will also be responsible to understand the intricacies of network infrastructure which will enable you to collaborate effectively with engineers and technical experts, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.

- Cultivate strong relationships with key executives in the telecommunications infrastructure ecosystem to foster collaboration and drive mutual success.
- Understand the fundamentals of network infrastructure and articulate to the engineers and technical experts.
