Job DescriptionDesign and deliver the technology architecture for a platform, product, or engagement, from development to operations. Shape technology architecture during the sales and solutioning process, as required.
QualificationExperience- Significant hands-on experience designing and implementing solutions using AWS cloud services.
Certification & Education- AWS Professional and/or Associate certification (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Business Architecture- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure cloud architectures.
- Experience in cost optimisation and familiarity with cloud best practices.
Data & AI Architecture- Strong understanding of data platforms and analytics solutions.
- Experience designing AI/ML-driven solutions and data lifecycle management.
Application Architecture- Proficiency in designing application workloads using modern cloud patterns (e.g., serverless, containerised, microservices).
- Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
Security Architecture- Deep knowledge of identity, access management, encryption, and compliance frameworks.
- Ability to implement security best practices across cloud environments.
Integration Architecture- Understanding of integration patterns and event-driven architectures.
- Ability to design APIs and hybrid connectivity solutions.
Non-Functional Requirements- Experience designing highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable solutions.
- Knowledge of disaster recovery strategies.
- Ability to design for performance, resilience, and observability.
- Familiarity with monitoring and optimisation practices.
Governance & Compliance- Awareness of cloud governance, account management, and compliance standards.
- Ability to enforce auditing and cost allocation strategies.
It would be advantageous to have:Advanced Certification- AWS Specialty certifications (e.g., Advanced Networking, Machine Learning, Security).
Multi-Cloud- Advantageous to have experience with other cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud).
