Responsibilities:
- Act as a seniorSecurityArchitectand technical authority across a portfolio of projects and services.
- Lead security architecture reviews andprovideexpert guidance on secure design principles.
- Assess and advise on cloud, network,infrastructureand application security controls.
- Review complex technical solutions and ensure they align with security, regulatory and business requirements.
- Conduct and support threat modelling, riskassessmentsand vulnerability assessments.
- Provide technical oversight and recommendations for security testing and penetration testing activities.
- Support vulnerability management activities, helping teams prioritise and remediate security risks.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers,testersand assurance teams to deliver secure solutions.
- Act as an escalation point for complex technical security challenges.
- Coach and mentor security practitioners, helping to improve the quality and consistency oftechnical security outputs.
- Promote security best practice and contribute to the development of technical standards across the security community.
- Engage with both senior stakeholders and technical delivery teams to communicate security risks and recommendations effectively.
QualificationEssential Skills & Experience- Significant experiencein one or more of the following areas:
- Strong understanding of modern cyber threats, attacktechniquesand security risks.
- Experience applying secure-by-design principles across enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of cloud,infrastructureand enterprise security technologies.
- Ability to translate complex technical security concepts into clear business-focused recommendations.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience reviewing security designs, riskassessmentsand security testing outputs.
Desirable Skills & Experience- Red Teaming and adversary simulation
- Secure software development and secure coding practices
- Advanced penetration testing and technical security assessments
- Experience working within large, complex enterprise environments.
Preferred CertificationsOne or more of the following industry certifications would beadvantageous:
- Microsoft Azure Cybersecurity Architect Expert
- Other recognised security industry certifications
