Job DescriptionJob Role: Strategy Associate DirectorLocation: London Career Level: Associate DirectorSalary: Competitive, plus benefits.The Opportunity:We are seeking a Strategy Associate Director to join our UKI End-to-End Value Chain team, a senior leadership community focused on the market's most complex supply chain, procurement, engineering and operating model transformations. You will combine board-level strategic advisory with hands-on commercial leadership - shaping the market, originating opportunities, mobilising pursuit teams and sponsoring delivery.
You will help clients move from siloed functional improvement to connected, intent-driven and AI-enabled value chains spanning Sourcing & Procurement, Planning & Fulfilment, Manufacturing & Operations, Engineering & R&D, and service. A key focus will be End-to-End Operating Model Reinvention and Global Business Services (GBS) strategy and design - reshaping how work is organised, governed and delivered, and building the value cases that secure executive investment.

In this role you will:- Client leadership: Originate and shape large-scale End-to-End Value Chain and Operating Model Reinvention programmes, including GBS strategy and design, across Industrials, Consumer Goods & Retail, Energy & Resources, and Life Sciences.
- Executive advisory: Build trusted relationships with CPOs, CSCOs, COOs and GBS leaders, translating board priorities into target operating models, service delivery strategies and investment roadmaps.
- Commercial leadership: Set pursuit strategy for complex, multi-workstream opportunities and lead proposition design, value case development, commercial shaping and executive engagement.
- Programme sponsorship: Sponsor major delivery programmes, maintaining alignment to the value case, client outcomes and key performance indicators while addressing delivery and commercial risks.
- Innovation: Define the UKI point of view on End-to-End Operating Model Reinvention, GBS strategy and design, agentic process transformation, connected digital twins, and resilient and sustainable value chains.
- Ecosystem mobilisation: Bring together SC&E capabilities and partners such as SAP, Kinaxis, Coupa, Palantir and NVIDIA to create differentiated client propositions.
- Practice leadership: Grow the Value Chain community through recruitment, capability building, career development, thought leadership and external market presence.

QualificationWe are looking for experience in the following skills:You are a recognised supply chain, procurement, operations or GBS leader who combines strategic depth, commercial judgement and the ability to build trust quickly at C-suite level.
- Experience: 15+ years across supply chain, procurement, operations or GBS, spanning consulting and senior industry leadership roles.
- Transformation record: Proven success shaping and leading End-to-End Operating Model Reinvention, GBS strategy and design, service delivery transformation and associated value cases, alongside supply chain, procurement or planning transformation.
- Industry depth: Deep expertise in one or more of Industrials & Manufacturing, Consumer Goods, Retail, Energy & Resources, or Life Sciences.
- Commercial acumen: A strong record of originating opportunities, shaping proposals and executive investment cases, negotiating commercial outcomes and growing senior client relationships.
- Digital and AI fluency: Practical understanding of process mining, planning platforms, procurement suites, digital twins, and AI or agentic frameworks and tooling.
- Resilience and sustainability: Experience with Scope 3 decarbonisation, supplier risk, multi-tier resilience and relevant regulatory requirements, including EUDR and CSDDD.
- Leadership and credentials: Exceptional executive communication and collaborative leadership. An MBA or equivalent is preferred; APICS, CIPS, Lean or Six Sigma credentials are advantageous.
