Job Overview
As an entry level Trainee of Imaging Geophysicist, you will be trained to do the following:
Understand the basics of the seismic processing flow and build strong background.
Learn to build 3D subsurface images using basic mathematical and physics concepts (e.g., inversion algorithms, wave equations, signal processing).
Use technical knowledge to solve simple geophysical issues, learn imaging techniques, and manage time effectively.
Apply geoscience principles, to do testing and focusing finding the optimum results under TL supervision.
Handle specific tasks in imaging projects with guidance.
Manage to use different software’s’ to support the processing work, tests and QCs.
Perform quality control checks and report issues to Team/Project Leaders.
Set up, run, and monitor processing tasks.
Gain practical experience to prepare for the Final Year Project, ideal for students who haven't completed their FYP.
Do E-Learning trainings and attend the classes scheduled.
Attend and coordinate client meetings and present the results of the tests done.
