The Consumer Experience Operations organization collaborates with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, Vendor Operations, Marketing, Data Science and Legal, to identify and address user pain points and improve the overall support experience. Our team is tasked with developing innovative and user-centric support solutions that address the evolving needs of YouTube's user base — across NFL Sunday Ticket, YouTube TV, and YouTube Music and Premium, as well as Shopping and Fan Funding — with the goal of delivering an exceptional experience while increasing growth and retention. We drive the implementation of self-service tools and automated support workflows, and we equip support agents with the knowledge, tools and skills to provide high quality service.
The Content Partner Engineering team is the technical interface for YouTube's vital partners across emerging markets (e.g., broadcasters, sports leagues and news organizations). Our unique blend of technical skill and business acumen allows us to provide high-touch technical services, resolve issues, and serve as a crucial feedback loop to incubate and mature scalable product solutions. We are dedicated to ensuring these partners can maximally grow, generate business, and protect their content and operations on YouTube.
As a Partner Engineer, you will be a technologist working in a team that manages YouTube’s largest partnerships, optimizing implementations, driving new business opportunities, and seeking solutions aiming to build excellent, successful, long-term partnerships.
In this role, you will lead projects and cross-functional efforts and solidify YouTube’s partnerships with the largest traditional partners and the most successful new media partners that have grown large businesses almost exclusively on YouTube.
At YouTube, we believe that everyone deserves to have a voice, and that the world is a better place when we listen, share, and build community through our stories. We work together to give everyone the power to share their story, explore what they love, and connect with one another in the process. Working at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and boundless creativity, we move at the speed of culture with a shared goal to show people the world. We explore new ideas, solve real problems, and have fun — and we do it all together.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical partnerships across content verticals, acting as the primary technical expert during business development partnering to drive partner success on YouTube.
- Develop product solutions to empower content partners, resolve technical issues, and drive scalable impact across the business.
- Identify and apply AI/ML use cases across partner operations and internal workflows to maximize efficiency, reduce costs, and deliver measurable business impact.
- Ensure technical integrity and compliance for all partner integrations both new and ongoing by providing necessary documentation and performing detailed implementation reviews.
- Apply advanced technical and project management skills to analyze large datasets, extract insights, and articulate YouTube's value to global partners.
