Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in VC/PE firms, startups, investment banking, consulting, sales, partnerships, or business development roles with C-level stakeholders.
- Experience managing products and technologies within Cloud or Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) sectors.
- Experience with the local startup ecosystem in the UK and EMEA.
- Ability to communicate in English fluently in order to communicate with clients.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience as Founder in a Chief Officer (CxO) role at a startup in a VC firm.
- Experience creating and executing on a Go-To-Market strategy in the startups and digital native space.
- Track record of establishing executive relationships with venture capitals/startup ecosystem.
- Ability to engage effectively with executives, paired with the technical literacy which is needed to interact with Chief Technical Officer (CTOs) and technical leaders.

- Lead Google Cloud’s partnerships efforts within your designated portfolio of leading Venture Capital (VC) firms.
- Work closely with Google Cloud regional sales leadership and other internal stakeholders to develop ecosystem strategy for the region, and venture capital partner-specific strategies.
- Build and expand long-term relationships with the key partners at assigned venture capitals, translating into long-term partnership agreements with venture capital firms.
- Reach out and develop relationships with venture capital portfolio companies in coordination with local sales teams and help sales teams prioritize portfolio companies to target.
- Drive value creation for the portfolio companies through the adoption and usage of Google Cloud services, liaising with various functions internally to address the needs of portfolio companies.
