Quantum Security & Sovereign Leadis responsible forshaping and executing enterprise strategies at the intersection of
postquantum security, cryptographic resilience, and sovereign cloud architectures. The role ensures that organizationsremainsecure, compliant, and operationally sovereign as quantum computing disrupts traditional encryption and globaldataresidencymodels.(IBM/RedHat)
This role bridges
emerging quantum risk,
regulatory sovereignty requirements, and
enterprise security architecture, translatingfuturestatethreats into actionable transformation programs today.
Key ResponsibilitiesQuantum &PostQuantumSecurity Strategy- Leadenterprisewideassessments ofquantumrelatedcryptographic risk, including “harvest now, decrypt later” exposure.
- Define postquantum cryptography (PQC) andcryptoagilityroadmaps aligned to NIST and emerging regulatory standards.
- Adviseexecutive leadership on quantum risk timelines, migration complexity, andlongtermdata protection strategies.
Sovereign Cloud & Data Residency- Design and governsovereignbydesignsecurity architectures, ensuring data residency, jurisdictional control, and regulatory compliance.
- Advise onsovereign cloud models (domestic control planes, restricted access, hybrid sovereign architectures).
- Ensurecryptographic, identity, and access controls align with national and regional sovereignty requirements.
Executive & Regulatory Engagement- Act as a trusted advisor toCsuite, government stakeholders, regulators, and risk committees.
- Translate highly technical quantum and cryptographic concepts into business, policy, and compliance language.
- Support regulatory readiness related to sovereignty, encryption, andlonglifecycledata protection.
Architecture & Transformation Leadership- Guide security, cloud, and enterprise architecture teams in embeddingquantumsafeand sovereign controls into platforms, networks, and applications.
- Align security transformation with AI, cloud, andcriticalinfrastructuremodernization initiatives.
- Influence vendor and ecosystem strategies to ensure sovereign compatibility andcryptoagility.

QualificationSkills & Experience- 10+ years of deepexpertiseincryptography, key management, and enterprise security architecture
- 5+ years of experienceofpostquantum cryptography (PQC)and quantum risk models
- 10+ Years ofExperience withsovereign cloud, data residency, and regulatory security frameworks
Professional Skills- Executivelevelstakeholder management
- Ability tooperateacross strategy, governance, and execution
- Strong translation skills between technical, legal, and business domains
- Cybersecurity, security architecture, technology risk, oremergingtechnologyconsulting
- Experience in regulated orgovernmentadjacentenvironments strongly preferred
