About Supply Chain Ordering Transformation
Supply Chain Ordering is a critical capability within Tesco's end‑to‑end supply ecosystem, ensuring that every store and fulfilment location receives the right products at the right time to meet customer demand. As we transition away from legacy Mainframe‑based Ordering applications, our focus is on building a modern, scalable, and intelligent Ordering platform that leverages real‑time data, advanced forecasting, and AI‑driven decisioning. This transformation will enable more accurate and automated ordering, reduce waste, improve availability, and create a seamless flow of information across Forecasting, Stock, Fulfilment, Transport, and In‑Store Operations.
We are very proud of our legacy estate but we a driven to transform the technology to introduce new capabilities enabling AI across Tesco's global Supply Chain. The LTPM plays a pivotal role in driving this evolution - coordinating complex cross‑functional delivery, integrating new technologies, and ensuring a smooth migration from legacy platforms to the new Ordering ecosystem.
