The Role: Executive Director, Portfolio Management & Transformation

The Location: Tetbury, UK, London or Virtual US
The Team: Data operations leverages transformative technologies partnered with domain expertise to deliver the highest quality data to our customers. We are a global team with team members across ten countries and five continents.
The Impact: The successful candidate will be responsible for driving transformation, defining and implementing the target operating model, ensuring strategic alignment, allocating resources, managing risk, monitoring performance, and ensuring governance for our portfolio.

Responsibilities:
Lead and drive the transformation roadmap for the portfolio, working collaboratively with all stakeholders to identify and execute necessary changes to optimize the portfolio's value and performance.
Define and implement the target operating model for the portfolio, ensuring that all processes, procedures, and systems are aligned and optimized to support the portfolio's strategic objectives.
Ensure that the portfolio of projects and programs aligns with Data Ops' overall strategic goals and objectives. Work with stakeholders to assess and prioritize projects based on their strategic alignment and value to the organization.
Allocate resources to the portfolio in a way that maximizes Data Ops' return on investment, while aligning to team mapping and cycle planning from APMO. Identify and resolve resource constraints to ensure timely delivery of projects.
Identify and manage risks that could impact the success of the portfolio. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, monitor risks, and escalate as necessary.
Monitor the performance of the portfolio and individual projects and programs against established targets and objectives. Define and drive metrics that matter to the portfolio's success. Identify areas for improvement and work with stakeholders to implement changes.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field. MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
Demonstrated experience in driving transformation, defining and implementing operating models, and strategic alignment.
Proven ability to allocate resources effectively, manage risk, monitor performance, and ensure governance.
Proven experience in portfolio management, project management, or related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Experience in financial services, data operations, or technology industries preferred.
Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $130,000 to $270,000. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic virtual locations. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.
