About the job
A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
Responsibilities
- Lead regional planning for the EMEA portfolio of data center assets using your planning, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Develop the long-range, infrastructure supply plans.
- Drive critical trade-off decisions and develop optimal multi-year supply plans by utilizing output from advanced demand and capacity models.
- Establish cross-functional planning governance, enforcing established principles and actively incorporating asset delivery status and risks from site acquisition through construction completion to ensure accountability and on-time performance of the regional plans.
- Serve as the central bridge and point of contact for the regional planning, cultivating relationships to align the internal business drivers of all key stakeholders (Finance, Land, Energy, Network, Construction) with the regional infrastructure plans.
