Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
- 2 years of experience with Android application development.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with the Android platform and ecosystem.
- Ability to look for opportunities to improve the system.
- Ability to keep stakeholders apprised of issues and progress.
- Ability to take on responsibility and commitment for an outcome.

The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.
Responsibilities
- Join the iOS Switching team within Android onboarding. Responsible for transitioning users data from iOS and helping them set up and familiarize themselves with an Android device.
- Work on a continual roadmap of improvements to this area within an established team.
- Work on centralized Android solutions which have uses across most OEMs.
