In a fast-paced world where candidate behaviour is continually changing, we need to serve content in a way that resonates with our audience. This is an exciting opportunity for an established social media specialist to create and deliver a strategy that showcases compelling insights into work and life at EY.
Your key responsibilities - Develop and deliver a best-in-class EY UK Careers social media strategy (organic and paid) that achieves cut through with talent audiences and aligns to wider business and social media objectives.
- Reframe how talent views EY by landing our employer value proposition through compelling content to ensure we are an organisation where they want to build their careers.
- Lead on creative briefs to transform employer brand social posts and campaign concepts into social-first content. Leveraging the right tools and resources.
- Be an active, leading voice in daily conversations with our team, wider stakeholders, external talent partnerships and agencies to help to shape our employer brand social media content so it remains relevant and on-brand, optimised through key learnings and follows best practice.
- Build on our employer advocacy programme for talent, enabling recruiter confidence and leveraging our network of advocates and career influencers.
- Line management of our social media Senior Associate, overseeing activities under their remit.
- Monitor mentions and sentiment of all EY UK Careers social media channels to identify opportunities, escalate issues, and support with crisis communications where necessary.
- Provide a deep understanding of the talent audience and the latest trends in the digital and social media landscape, including staying ahead of the latest in-platform changes.
- Use data to develop social media insights to create greater engagement with our talent audience, evaluating the effectiveness of social media activity against goals.
- Act as a first point of contact for all social media requests and queries related to the EY UK Careers social media channels.
- Continue to build a solid relationship with our UK Social Media team who manage the EY UKI corporate channels - attending regular calls, strategic sessions, sharing key learnings and collaborating on joint projects, having a one team approach.
- Travelling to key events when required to capture and/or direct social media content.
Skills and attributes for success - Track record of delivering compelling talent-focussed social media content that delivers impact through measurement.
- Deep understanding of social media platforms and algorithms, demonstrating agility in approach.
- A creative eye and strong copywriting/editorial experience. Strong writing skills and attention to detail to ensure that all social media content is of the highest possible quality.
- Prior experience of key social media management tools: Hootsuite Talkwalker, Core and Amplify in particular.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
To qualify for the role, you must have - Experience of working in professional services or a creative/social media agency.
- Strong talent and/or employer brand knowledge and experience.
- Strong experience of Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok.
- Strong experience of owned, paid and earned media for talent.
Ideally, you’ll also have - Experience of working with creative/social and media agencies.
- LinkedIn Campaign Manager experience.
