About the role

As a leading Practitioner and advocate of Project Management, you will bring deep technical knowledge to the Partnership by designing, delivering and implementing business change to meet identified business needs within Technical delivery, People/Organisational Change and Supply Chain. You will deliver identified business value through acquiring and utilising the necessary resources and skills, within appropriate parameters of cost, scope, timescales, and quality.
We are looking for candidates who have experience in Technical delivery, People/Organisational Change and Supply Chain project management
Salary - £59,300 - £92,400
Contract type - This position is for 2 x 12 months secondments/fixed term contracts
Working pattern/flexible working - The Partnership has adopted a hybrid working approach, meaning you'll be able to work a mixture between the office and home based upon your personal needs whilst balancing the needs of the business.
Location -This is a hybrid working role, therefore your time will be split between working from home and Head Offices based in Pimlico London and Bracknell. Core working hours are Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm.
Key responsibilities
You will apply project management methodologies on large scale complex projects based on the context of the project and selecting appropriately from predictive (plan-driven) approaches or adaptive (iterative/agile) approaches.
You will undertake a combined Project and Change Management role, depending on the size and value of the change and/ or use your project management expertise to assure project management activity is carried out by a non specialist.
You will manage various stakeholders, internal and external, working for the project
You will have the opportunity to develop and stretch personally and professionally to achieve your potential.
Develop, track and report on budgets, forecasts and actuals, to ensure parity with expected costs and escalation should financial exceptions occur.
Essential skills/experience you’ll need
A recognised professional qualification in project management: Prince 2, Agile or equivalent
Experience of project managing multiple projects across Technical Delivery, People/Organisational Change and Supply Chain.
Practical experience of working with a range of delivery techniques including agile
Proven end-to-end project delivery, managing multiple workstreams for organisations with revenues between £5-12 billion. Experience in food grocery, retail, or manufacturing sectors preferred.
Experience of senior level stakeholder management to executive level
Experience of managing teams consisting of internal and external resources, including building and managing 3rd party supplier relationships.
Experience of working within a structured governance framework
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
A clear passion for innovation and change with demonstrable evidence of innovative delivery
Innovative in solving problems and being confident to challenge
