The E-Commerce Growth team aims for around 2 days a week in the office to connect, usually a Wednesday & Thursday. The role is based at our London Central Offices in Pimlico.
The salary range for this role is set at £53,000 £85,000

About the role
Become an E-Commerce Brands Growth Manager at John Lewis! Lead and grow our online brand presence.
We’re looking for an experienced commercial and customer-focused individual with knowledge of operating in an E-Commerce trading environment with experience of people management and influencing internal and external stakeholders and Brands. You will be experienced in building and maintaining productive external relationships and leading across multiple categories.
In this role, you will lead and develop your E-Commerce trading team, setting the strategic direction and outlining how Brands can grow at John Lewis, influencing stakeholders to deliver commercial targets and working with teams in Customer, Commercial. Content & Operations and Optimisation & Product to deliver these actions.
As the E-Commerce Brands Growth Manager, you will be responsible for articulating risks and opportunities to Brands performance looking forward, and analysis and recommendations from reviewing previous trading performance to maximise opportunities and minimise risks. You will use your functional knowledge, providing insight that enables you to influence improved decision-making and prioritisation across Commercial, Digital and Customer teams. You will lead the team to monitor performance and external benchmarks for you to ensure risks/opportunities are highlighted to stakeholders to improve existing Brand performance, new Brand business, on-site/app customer journeys or marketing tactic channel activity.
Key responsibilities:
Shares expert and insightful analysis of Brand performance data to drive E-Commerce trading actions
Aggregates end-to-end site customer behaviour analysis across funnel steps, campaigns, traffic type & content to maximise channel performance and inform customer journey improvements.
Constantly reviews external market benchmarks to share recommendations and inform category assortment development and site customer journey development
Influences and informs Brands about assortment range, price & availability using site performance data to highlight risks/opps.
Oversees and validates high-quality trading insight, commentary and site metric forecasting
Develops a highly commercial and analytical team with a high-performance culture that brings customer and commercial data together to make better trading decisions and delivers continuous E-Commerce optimisation improvements
Building and Owning the Brand growth plan
Prioritisation of Brand risk/opp mitigation actions
Will make decisions around in-week trading actions

Essential skills you’ll need
Experience working with and influencing external brands
E-Commerce experience - understands how to influence conversion, traffic and AOV through multiple digital and trading functions.
Highly numerate and strong data-analysis orientation. Comfortable with interpreting complex data from multiple sources to provide clear recommendations.
Strong commercial acumen.
Line Management
Influencing skills. Ability to build strong Stakeholder relationships both internally and externally
Builds and owns growth platform for brands on how they can grow and support E-Commerce performance and customer experience to create a win win for JL and the brands, in context and in harmony with retail media and B&M relationships
Develops plans at brand level to unlock and exploit opportunities, through identifying growth opps and gaining the support and investment from brands to make it happen and demonstrate incrementality.
