Job DescriptionProduct LeadLevel - CL7Location - LondonWe’re Accenture Song’s Venture Studio - brought in when clients need to evolve what works now, reimagine what’s next, or build something entirely new. We make it real, fast, and together.
Our team is made up of Growth strategists, Product builders, and Creative designers who make growth happen by building products people want to use, and we do it for truly game-changing businesses like L’Oréal, British Airways, Primark, VMO2 and Jaguar Land Rover. The impact we are having is changing the way people live, shop, bank, work, and travel.
We are not your typical consulting team and we are much more than your traditional design studio. We’re a team of founders, operators and creatives who’ve launched products, scaled businesses and been recognised by Fast Company and beyond. We don’t just advise, we build - whether it’s launching a totally new venture from ground-up, or revolutionising an existing product or service.
Scale isn’t easy to come by, but being part of Accenture enables us to truly stand behind that word. We connect the dots across different parts of this organisation to be able to deliver for some of the biggest brands in the world.
This is a one-of-a-kind place to forge your career. Where the brightest, most ambitious minds are let loose on the biggest, most impactful problems.
Key responsibilities Product Leads are responsible for translating complex client challenges into clear propositions, products and ventures that are grounded in user needs, market opportunity and commercial outcomes. You will be leading multidisciplinary teams in shaping the strategy, validating the concept and bringing the product to market.
Client & Product Leadership - Translate complex client challenges into clear propositions, products and ventures that are grounded in user needs, market opportunity and commercial outcomes.
- Act as a trusted partner to clients by shaping product strategy, challenging assumptions and guiding confident decision-making.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams through ambiguity, keeping delivery focused on outcomes without sacrificing quality of thinking or craft.
- Drive the smooth running of the team through project planning and rituals whilst also cultivating a collaborative and driven team culture.
Product & Venture Development - Identify customer problems, unmet needs and market opportunities through research, synthesising insights into clear opportunity spaces.
- Define product propositions, experience principles and high-level feature roadmaps.
- Shape MVP strategy - prioritising the right capabilities and identifying the fastest path to launch a product in market.
- Oversee rapid prototyping, testing and iteration to validate assumptions and sharpen product direction.
- Working closely with designers to ensure ideas come to life as intuitive and bold user experiences.
- Support the development of proposals and pitches, as well as spotting on-sell opportunities to contribute to a healthy pipeline of work.
Culture & Ways of Working - Set the standard for how product strategy and design come together to drive meaningful impact.
- Mentor junior team members, supporting their growth.
- Build on the culture of Venture Studio by elevating our product thinking, giving feedback and participating in company forums.
Throughout, you will work hand-in-hand with strategy and creative partners to push the quality of thinking, craft and outcomes. We work as a T-shaped team, where everyone brings a core speciality but is encouraged to stretch, learn and contribute across the venturing spectrum.
QualificationWhat we’re looking for - Minimum 8+ years of demonstrable professional experience in digital innovation, product management, strategy or design or within a consultancy, startup, scale-up or in-house product team.
- A strong track record of leading the definition and delivery of digital products or services, from early concept through to launch or validated prototype.
- You are comfortable navigating the intersection of user needs, business strategy and technology, using product thinking to bring these perspectives together.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams, collaborating with strategists, designers, engineers and growth specialists to deliver impactful outcomes.
- Strong strategic thinking combined with the ability to translate vision into tangible product decisions and experiences.
- Confidence working with C-suite, managing senior client relationships, be it facilitating workshops, shaping product strategy discussions and presenting complex ideas clearly
- A flexible mindset with the ability to quickly adapt across disciplines, balancing strategic direction with hands-on product thinking.
- A proactive, entrepreneurial attitude and growth mindset - comfortable navigating ambiguity and pushing ideas forward.
- High standards of craft and thinking, with a passion for using design and product thinking to solve meaningful problems.
- An appreciation for the importance of team culture and experience owning and delivering cultural initiatives outside of the work
