Regional Leader, Cyber Crisis Communications

Minimum qualifications:

  • Experience in an agency, consultancy, or corporate environment, and serving as the primary communications counselor to clients.
  • Experience in creating and managing goals with executive stakeholders and team members.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working in a fast-moving and continuously changing environment.
  • Ability to guide clients through complex crisis events with potentially significant business impacts.
  • Ability to present written or verbal information to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to be driven, proactive, hardworking, creative, and a team-player.

Responsibilities

  • Provide reactive crisis communications support for Mandiant clients responding to a cybersecurity incident, walking alongside technical teams to help clients’ leadership teams evaluate the business risk of communications decisions. Lead all incident response communications activities across clients’ internal and external audiences.
  • Guide clients through the development of cyber crisis communications plans using established best practices customized for organizations, and capturing the process via the development of crisis communications playbooks.
  • Develop and execute exercises to evaluate communications response capabilities and participate as a communications subject-matter-expert as part of team-based executive tabletops.
  • Support Mandiant services business opportunities across a diverse set of Google clients and prospects.
  • Participate in the development, production, and marketing of thought leadership surrounding emerging crisis communications trends and issues.
