About the Role
We are looking for highly motivated problem solvers ready to tackle tough challenges. You will be working on in-house AI applications specifically built for Geoscience users.
Responsibilities
- Build and deploy cross-platform mobile apps using React Native and Expo.
- Develop scalable backend REST APIs with Node.js.
- Test applications, gather user feedback, and rapidly resolve issues.
- Integrate mobile frontends with backend databases and AI/ML services.
- Accelerate development using AI coding assistants like Claude Code or similar tools.
Requirements
- Completed 1.5+ years of a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or AI.
- Proficient in mobile app design (React Native/Expo) and backend development (Node.js).
- Capable of utilizing Claude Code or similar AI coding tools effectively.
- Must relocate to Houston, TX for the 3-month duration.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1–2 years of professional experience building mobile apps.
- Background or coursework in Machine Learning and AI.

Hiring Process
Coding Assignment: Same as the AI Engineer role. Submitting a Loom video and GitHub repo guarantees consideration. Resume-only applications will not be auto-rejected. Technical Round 1: 1-hour coding interview with Yogesh. Technical Round 2: 1-hour interview with Rong or Hao (if Round 1 is passed). HR Round: Final Q&A for selected candidates.
