What will you be doing?
We are looking for a curious and proactive Senior QA to help ensure the quality of our servicing platform. You’ll be a key player in our team, driving creative thinking and challenging the status quo.
Building high performance, scalable, available, fault tolerant systems is a team game and so we want to know that you play well with others. Lone geniuses are brilliant - just not for us.
As a Senior QA your role will include:
- Embedding quality into the product and process, not just testing
- Helping shape team ways of working to ensure quality is addressed
- Uncovering edge cases from the refinement stage of a feature, all the way to production
- Contributing to the automated test suites by writing and reviewing tests
- Verifying acceptance criteria are met and exploratory test a new feature, if needed
- Working with developers to optimize the release process and making sure the tests run in the CI/CD pipelines
- Recording, monitoring and reporting on test results
What we’re looking for
- Experience in risk-based testing and exploratory testing
- In-depth knowledge of the full end to end testing life cycle
- Experience in writing full stack automated tests
- Experience with test tools setup and configuration
- Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change
- Experience with test planning and execution
- Capable of adding to project documentation and reporting
- Background and/or enthusiasm for the ways we work:
- Build automation, continuous integration and continuous deployment to production systems
- Agile/iterative development processes
- Shared quality ownership & cross-functional teams
- Collaborative design and development
- It would be a bonus if you have experience with:
- Financial Services, especially payments
