What we do:
The Partnership is the UK’s most successful omni-channel retailer which includes one of the UKs most loved grocery brands which has annual sales revenues in excess of £6.7B.
Our Engineering practice includes 60+ teams, working on everything from Cloud Platforms to Mobile Apps, from E-Commerce functionality to Machine Learning.
Our Engineers work collaboratively and share knowledge, and learning is extremely important to us. We support our Engineers to continuously improve their skills and keep abreast of the latest technologies.
About the role:
Technology plays a crucial role in delivering class leading customer service to customers in our supermarkets. You will play a leading role working within the Payments Delivery team which delivers changes to a range of retail services and systems including EPOS, EFT payments, Self Checkout, Self Service and introduces new technologies within this area.
You will work closely with Delivery Leads, Infrastructure teams, Product Managers, Architects and other internal stakeholders as well as multiple 3rd party service providers that provide solutions to our business.
You will define functional and non-functional requirements for 3rd party solutions and manage the development, release and successful transition of new services into live operation.
Successful candidates will have a positive, collaborative mindset and a desire to learn new skills and apply these in a fast paced and varied technical environment.
Essential skills you’ll need:
Demonstrable experience of working in an IT team within a Retail PoS environment, managing client/server applications at scale, managing central services and end point devices and working with SaaS providers.
