The Dev Academy Team Lead fills a critical role in the development of new engineers that have joined Solutions Technology. The Team Lead will be responsible for the coaching, mentoring and overall owner of initiatives completed by the Dev Academy group. Additionally, this role will manage training programs, align Dev Academy engineers with software engineering requirements, and produce regular reports and metrics regarding the progress of engineers in the program.
Department Overview
The Solutions Technology Software Engineering team comprises of highly skilled and experienced professionals located around the world. The team engages in design, development and delivery of client facing products and services.
Duties & Accountabilities
- Work directly with Architecture and Development partners to design and implement cloud-native event-driven distributed systems.
- Proven development experience of SaaS, DDD, SDLC, CI/CD, Agile, TDD, BDD, and cloud-native systems.
- Experience leading and mentoring software engineers.
- Demonstrate proactive leadership of coding standards, testing and processes across the team.
- Participates with team to develop user stories and deliver features
- Drives team to design applications to meet functional and non-functional requirements
- Experience with developing CQRS/ Event Sourcing systems
Education and experience
- 10 - 15 years’ experience in all aspects of Software Engineering
- Proven team leadership experience
- Experience leading and mentoring software engineers.
