Restoration, previously known as Black Start, involves the process of reinstating power in the event of a complete or partial shutdown of the national electricity transmission system. While such shutdowns are uncommon, it’s imperative to have contingency plans in place for a swift and organised restoration of electricity supplies.
As an Electrical Restoration Engineer, your role will focus on updating eNAMS, our outage application. But this exciting opportunity extends beyond just working with this application.
You’ll have a unique opportunity to collaborate with various industry stakeholders, contributing to the development and implementation of Electricity System Restoration Standards, and formulating strategies and plans for our electricity system under distress.
This role will be based at our Wokingham office which has free onsite parking, and we continue to offer hybrid working from office and home.
