About the Position;
We are currently seeking an experienced Field Tester E in our Albany area, with a starting pay rate of $53.22. The ability to travel extensively to job sites within the National Grid territory. Under general supervision to perform duties including testing, diagnostics, and providing recommendations regarding repairs for mandated gas corrosion program. Update corrosion records as necessary on Pipeline Compliance System (PCS) database and related documentation. Train lower classification Gas Field testers in all aspects of corrosion.
Job Qualifications:
- Must have completed NACE (National Association of Corrosion Engineers) Technician level course-CP1 (Cathodic Protection).
- Must have a valid drivers license.
- Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
Salary:
- Hourly/$53.22

As such, the Company’s testing programs and policies regarding the use of federally prohibited drugs or alcohol, for recreational or medical purposes, will remain in effect for these safety-sensitive, DOT covered positions.
