Job Purpose
To lead the development and implementation of strategic initiatives of the enterprise wide electricity distribution and transmission.
Key Accountabilities
- Participate in the development, implementation and management of new technologies or automation of existing technologies including FLISR schemes, DER study automation and integrated electric/gas planning.
- Engage appropriately with specified stakeholders, government agencies, consenting authorities and media within the development phases of Non Wires Alternative projects.
- Input to the development of the engineering perspective of new business concepts such as digital concepts.
- Complete the definition of technical specifications in relation to a range of technologies.
- Determine the options to be considered for new technology projects at initiation to satisfy the need case for investment.
- Ensure that a robust basis of design is produced for each new technology which documents the reasons for the investment, the options considered, costs and program.
- Lead and/or participate in the development of regulatory filings.
Supervisory/Interpersonal- Experience Required
- Able to motivate, counsel, coach, and develop direct reports and others.
- Experience establishing clearly defined goals and standards of employee performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline or science is required
- Advanced degree, Professional License (PE) or certification is a plus
- Black Belt in Six Sigma, Lean Six Sigma and/ or Continuous Improvement, LCS Lean Certification (desirable)

Salary
$128,000 - $151,000 a year
This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
