Managing one or more projects as part of a wider portfolio, successful delivery requires a true cross discipline coordination, collaboration and unity in decision making approach in order to ensure the project maintains its path towards connecting offshore wind into the Grid by 2030.
The particular portfolio you will be working on is a long linear project with multiple disciplines required to deliver a project of this scale, the project consists of various substation works, underground cable and overhead lines. This is an exiting and dynamic project moving at pace to achieve key net zero targets.
You will be required to quickly get projects back on track if they slow down, mindful that any slippages will adversely affect the portfolio as a whole.
You’ll employing a robust risk management process whenever a project requires changes, ensuring the project remains within governance.
You’ll ensure you hit your forecasted budgets to monthly, yearly and completion deadlines and targets.
Ensuring internal and contractor compliance with Health & Safety, CDM & Environmental legislation you’ll also adherence National Grid SHES standards,.
