We’re investing in our transmission network to connect new sources of low carbon and green energy.
There’s never been a better time to work in energy. It’s a time of opportunity and transformation as we strive to provide a greener, cleaner energy system for the country. As a result of this, we're seeing unprecedented growth in our network and are looking to grow our Electricity Transmission (ET) Property Lands Team.
We are looking for a Support Surveyor to deliver new infrastructure projects within our Customer Connections team to help facilitate The Great Grid Upgrade, the largest overhaul of the electricity grid in generations. Our infrastructure projects across England and Wales are helping to connect more renewable energy to your homes and businesses.
You'll be part of a diverse land team providing expert land rights and acquisitions services required for new electrical assets for National Grid. This will be in accordance with current legislation and guidance, best practice and procedure, to ensure National Grid adheres to its licence obligations.
We need people with the skills and enthusiasm to help deliver for our customers today and build an energy network that’s fit for the future. In return we can offer you the chance to make a real impact at work. Please view our video to learn more about what it is like to work in our teams.
In this role you can enjoy our hybrid working from office and home. You'll be flexible to travelling to offices and project sites as required. There are National Grid offices across England (with hub offices in Warwick and Leeds). We are open to full time and part time applicants, as well as flexible working arrangements.
