Not only are we responsible for delivering energy to millions of homes and businesses, we are also driving the move to cleaner energy, and the Government’s target of net zero emissions by 2050.
We are seeking 2 x talented SHEs Advisors to join our team to provide Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) support to the regional delivery teams with coaching, advice and training that will drive, motivate, inspire and encourage managers, staff and contractors to deliver legislative compliance and promote continuous improvement to create, achieve and sustain world class health and safety performance.
You will support in the effective implementation, coordination, execution and monitoring of all aspects of Quality Assurance, ensuring compliance with all relevant ISO Standards, National Grid policies, procedures, specifications and the wider National Grid Quality Management System.
You’ll be a source of expertise on Safety, Health, Environment and Quality issues, providing specialist advice on Process Safety, CDM, materials and equipment and drive the implementation of the company strategy to enable responsibility and accountability to reside with line managers and staff, with emphasis on behavioural safety.
We have 2 x roles available; one will cover the North England region and the other the South England regions, and as part of our hybrid working model, this role offers a mixture of home, site and office working.
The ability to travel to these locations will be essential (full UK driving licence required).
