Salary: Circa 55,000 depending on experience

The opportunity:
An opportunity has arisen in a fast-moving team for a seasoned improvement practitioner working in the Procurement and Supply Chain environment. Leading approved functional improvements in processes, tools & methodologies, which enhance overall efficiency. Working with stakeholders from across our European Sites you will be responsible for supporting and enhancing an international Risk Management Process and improving the functional practices.
The Role
- Support the UK Procurement and Supply Chain identification, development, and implementation of functional improvement and transformation activities.
- Project Manage tools improvement activities in support of Procurement and Supply Chain activities.
- Create, publish and support the implementation of new policies and processes through training and communication to the Procurement and Supply Chain teams.
- Provide ongoing functional support regarding the improvement / implementation of processes and tools.
- For the following projects specifically, work with internal customers and manage solution suppliers to implement, improve and deliver the Procurement & Supply Chain Domain strategy:
- Procurement & Supply Chain Enterprise risk governance and group process.
- Procurement & Supply Chain Process reviews and audits.
- For Process reviews and audits specifically'
- Assume the role of national process and audit coordinator for the P&SC function, helping to define associated procedures, monitor governance, capture lessons learned and working with other NATCOs support new ways of working.
- Lead the preparation for internal and external audits of P&SC processes by both internal and external bodies.
- Analyse best general practices from industrial benchmarking of other relevant companies.
- Promote best practice and functional excellence:
- Collaborating functionally and cross functionally on improvement initiative and projects
- Develop and enhance the working practices between all areas of Procurement.
- Challenge the current ways of thinking and practices
- Drive efficiency of procurement and supply chain system initiatives through ongoing measurement and evaluation of their impact by using system data and KPIs to prioritise activities.
- Drive improvements for the Knowledge Management approach within ISP UK
- Plan, develop and deliver training materials to support the implementation of system improvement projects.
- Project manage deliverables against plan and communicate across functions.
- Identify the relevant governance is in place as part of improvement control / progress plans.
- Collaborate and support BS&I and Improvement / Supply Chain Excellence functions.
What we're looking for from you:
You will be working within the ‘Industrial policy, Global Supply Chain & Procurement' Directorate and specifically as part of the ‘Business Solutions and Improvement' Team
- On the job experience will be vast and will take you into different cultures and practices. You will have the chance to improve your competence by attendance of training, coaching and knowledge capitalisation events carried out from within the Procurement and Supply Chain Academy.
- This is a Multi-National Role with significant linkages to the future approaches we wish to take (Reliable, Common, Transversal) so there will be ample opportunities to travel and use a foreign language
