The Role: DevOps Technical Lead
The Location: London, Ontario (Hybrid) or Remote Canada
The Team:
We are a cross cutting team responsible for deploying and maintaining shared infrastructure across multiple cloud environments. Our mission is to empower developers with knowledge and tooling while supporting the underlying platforms. We strive to evangelize DevOps culture across all teams leveraging new technologies to push the company to greater heights.
The Impact:
As a DevOps Technology Lead, you will be working closely with our Technical Architects and Software Engineers to prioritize, design, and develop internal application initiatives including greenfield opportunities. By standardizing and automating best practices, you will enable fixes and features to be deployed quickly and securely ensuring faster turnaround on development for both internal and external customers. Our teams build solutions for the biggest names in the finance industry and our public and private sites generate over 11 billion peak monthly web views. If you manage your investments online, you may already be using our solutions.
What’s in it for you:
• Design, build, and maintain stable, secure, and scalable cloud environments that makes it possible for teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Help further enhancements to our Continuous Integration and Delivery pipelines to deliver faster solutions
• Establish a product vision to develop, support, and improve automated build and configuration management solutions
• Integrate virtualization, configuration management, and application deployment systems
• Design and build tools to allow engineering and support teams to troubleshoot issues and isolate problems
• Create, manage, and prioritize the backlog with your development team
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring of team members both junior and senior
What We’re Looking For:
• At least 7 years of relevant work experience
• Experience creating, modifying, and maintaining CI/CD systems
• Experience with container management and orchestration platforms
• Configuration management systems experience
• Experience with Windows and/or Linux scripting technologies and toolsets
• Experience with modern scripting languages and compiled build tools
