Job Summary
As a Full Stack Developer and member of our Marlin product Scrum team, this role is focused on designing, developing and deploying web applications and back end services to Kubernetes cluster deployments on customers premises and our AWS cloud SaaS environments.
About the Team
This role is part of the Marlin Product Scrum Team which is a small, agile team focused on the development of the Marlin product, which is the strategically important new product area, taking Concept into new markets. The development team is an integral part of the Marlin Business within Concept.
Key Responsibilities
Member of Scrum development team, actively participating in Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews and Sprint Retrospectives
Participation in all aspects of development from refinement, estimation, development, testing, and deployment.
Contribute to innovation in terms of development and process.
Qualifications:
Essential
- 5 years plus of Full Stack Development experience in a commercial environment using TypeScript 5+, React 18+, MaterialUI 5+, Redux, RTK Query, Node.JS, PostgreSQL 16+
- Strong knowlege of AWS Services including Lambda, DynamoDB / DocumentDB, S3, SQS
- Knowledge of Playwright, Vitest / Jest
- Knowledge and experience of working within a fast-moving Scrum team where value, quality, measuring, and improvement are key
- Strong analytical skills and systematic approach to problem solving and solution development
- Excellent communication skills
Desirable
- Experience of hosting and deploying production web solutions in a Kubernetes cluster
- Use of Azure DevOps, Azure CI, Automated build, test, and deployment pipelines
- Python, Docker, Linux,
- Apache ECharts or equivalent,
- ActiveReportsJS or equivalent
- Mapping tools / components such as Mapbox, OpenLayers, Luciad Ria, or equivalent
- Optimisation or constraint programming with CP-SAT
